The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program is one of the varied of all the Provincial Nominee Program with two with two broad streams for skilled workers and graduates plus an additional stream for entrepreneurs. The eligibility criteria may vary from particular program, but the basic eligibility requirements remain same for all the programs under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program:

• The applicant must have a valid profile in the Express Entry system.
• Must have at least two years of employment experience in the related skilled occupation.
• The applicant has to clear the intentions that he/she will perform the responsibilities given by the British Columbia employer.
• The applicant must have a valid employment offer from an employer in British Columbia (not required for some programs)
• Must have the required language proficiency skills.
• The applicant must have the sufficient funds to take care of themselves and their family or dependent.
• The applicant must have adequate educational qualifications required.
• The work experience shown by the applicant must be legal.

The applicant must check the eligibility criteria and find the appropriate migration program as per the eligibility. Then in the next step send the Expression of Interest to the province for review. After the selection he/she will get the nomination for the province. Those with the highest totals will get an Invitation to Apply.
