New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program

The New Brunswick is one of the four Atlantic provinces of Canada. It uses both French and English as their official speaking languages. The aspirants are quickly welcomed with the province’s friendly migration programs. The candidates can apply under the following streams:

  • New Brunswick Express Entry
  • New Brunswick Skilled Worker Steam
  • New Brunswick Entrepreneurial Stream
  • The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program

New Brunswick Express Entry-

The applicants who have submitted their profiles in the Express Entry Pool, must have to complete the specific requirements for the nomination. The applications are accepted on the basis of the skills, education qualifications and employment offer for the contribution in their economy.

If you have a connection in the New Brunswick province the chances of selection may increases. The eligible candidates will receive a Notification or Letter of Interest (LOI) from the province of New Brunswick under the Federal Express Entry program.

New Brunswick Skilled Worker Stream-

The applicant who has skills, qualification and valid employment offer from the employer in New Brunswick are eligible for the permanent residency. The candidates must have an intention of settlement in the province. The program also increases the opportunities for the employers to fill their employment vacancies with the Canadian Citizens, permanent resident and foreign nationals.

New Brunswick Entrepreneurial Stream –

The experienced entrepreneurs who are willing to invest or start a new business in New Brunswick and settle down in that province permanently get the benefit under this program. The eligibility requirements include their personal net worth, business ownership, management experience and business plan. The government allows or invites the business persons who fill the criteria of the province’s economic growth. The decision depends on the economic situation, labour market conditions and the yearly nomination procedure.

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program-

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program was started for the employers who hire foreign nationals and students who wish to reside in New Brunswick, Canada. The program is designed for the employers only who recruit the employees outside Canada. The new Atlantic Immigration Program is launched in early 2022.

General Questions

In order to get eligible under the program the applicant must:

  • Have the age between 22 and 55.
  • Must demonstrate the required score for the language proficiency.
  • Must have an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) report issued by the designated organization by IRCC.
  • If the applicant is considering the nomination under an occupation, then he/she will require a valid employment offer.
  • The applicant must have two year full time paid skilled employment experience in New Brunswick which is not gained from self employment and full time student.
  • The applicant have to sign and submit the “Commitment to live and get employment” in New Brunswick.
  • The applicant must have enough funds to settle and support the dependents/family members in New Brunswick. If he/she does not have employment offer the proof of funds are not required.
  • For the Skilled Workers with Family Support the applicant must be a non-dependent child, brother, sister, niece, nephew or grandchild of a permanent resident or Canadian citizen living in New Brunswick.
  • Once you have identified which pathway you’d like to apply under the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program, it’s important to make sure that you meet all the mandatory requirements before completing your application or submitting an expression of interest.
  • Applicants have to submit the file online.
  • The applicant must indicate his/her connection to New Brunswick (such as a full-time, permanent employment offer) as outlined in the conditions of each stream.
  • The eligibility is complete on the basis of age, language, Education, employment experience and adaptability.
  • After the submission the applicant’s files is added to the Express of Interest pool and receive the Invitation to Apply (ITA) from the PETL.
  • If your application is successful, the last step is to apply for permanent residence through IRCC. It will be up to the Government of Canada to make the final decision on the permanent residency.

Note- The candidates can apply to the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program under the non-express entry migration category. The applicants have to meet all the eligibility criteria mentioned above and have all the skills backed by education to contribute to the New Brunswick Province labour market.

The New Brunswick PNP Business Applicant category is for foreign national’s interested New Brunswick migration who can contribute to province through a business idea, management experience, and willingness to invest in the region. Applicants under this NBPNP stream may purchase an existing business in the province, enter into a partnership with a New Brunswick entrepreneur, or can start a brand new business in NB.

  • Wish to live in the province of New Brunswick
  • Intend to operate a business in New Brunswick
  • Have at least a high school education
  • Be between 22 and 55 years old
  • Make a deposit of the required fund that is conditionally refundable
  • Have a required personal net worth.
  • Must visit New Brunswick province to research the business environment
  • Speak English or French to actively manage a business in the province
  • Have gained relevant management experience in three of the last five years
  • Provide a business plan that demonstrates how the enterprise will benefit New Brunswick Province.
